I selected this Bible due to my yearning to read the Bible with different views on history, and I found that in the New International Version Study Bible, I was most intrigued by the beginning of life, history, and different opinions and views of what life might have been like at this time in history.

Kent Dobson, the author of the Word Study, Articles, and Selected Notes; Mr. Dobson is a Teacher Pastor who has appeared on the History Channel and Discovery Channel.

I read the Bible, and I found myself intrigued by Mr. Dobson’s introductions. The selected notes were invaluable to my understanding of the beginning, the men and women who lived, fought, died, and preached the WORD as they followed Jesus’ teachings.
