You’ll Get Through This, Hope And Help For Your Turbulent Times is a compilation of selected events in the Bible that affected Joseph thousands of years ago.

Joseph’s timeline of his life includes the effects of his brothers’ actions against him, missing his father, lies, deceit, and deception in becoming a man.

It is all relatable today.

We all experience those same things health, family, relationships, and career?

You’ll get through this.
It won’t be painless.
It won’t be quick.
But God will use this mess for good.

Mr. Lucado is an exemplary storyteller shows us that God and Faith will see us through it.

To paraphrase a passage from page 51:

“God hasn’t forgotten you. Just the opposite. He has chosen to train you.

Dismiss the notion that God does not see your struggle. On the contrary, God is fully engaged. He sees the needs of tomorrow and, accordingly, uses your circumstances to create the test of today.”

You’ll get through this.
It won’t be painless.
It won’t be quick.
But God will use this mess for good.

To paraphrase a passage from page 83:

“Let God define good. Our definition includes health, comfort, and recognition. His definition? In the case of his son Jesus Christ, the good life consisted of struggles, storms, and death. But it worked it all together for the greatest of good; his glory and our salvation.”

You’ll get through this.
It won’t be painless.
It won’t be quick.
But God will use this mess for good.

Personal note: I could not put ‘You’ll Get Through This, Hope And Help For Your Turbulent Times’ down. I read the entire book within twenty-four hours. And I will continue to reread this book to remind myself that God and my Faith will help me get through anything I may experience in life.
